Welcome to the LNER Community Stadium, York. Home to both York City Football Club and York RLFC, this 8,500 all seater stadium also houses some fantastic leisure facilities, including a 25m swimming pool, spacious gym, Clip N Climb Arena, and 5 aside 3G Pitches.

Non-matchday events
The stadium, opened in early 2021, also has some fantastic facilities for non-matchday events. All our function spaces have loads of natural daylight and views across the pitch to the West stand. With built in AV, modern facilities and a fantastic location just 3 miles from the city centre of York, our opening has certainly been eagerly awaited. We look forward to hosting prestigious events here in York and we would be a great choice of venue for business meetings, black tie dinners, family celebrations and much more.

Our largest space, the LNER Lounge, can seat up to 300 in theatre style or 200 for dining and features a smart bar facility, private toilets, and integrated AV. Our largest room with flexibility for various layouts and a large private bar facility. The LNER Lounge is on the 2nd floor accessible either by lift or the main staircase. With a pitch view this room has lots of natural daylight but is fitted with blinds if needed.

The LNER Lounge has a built in ceiling screen with quiet motor, HD ceiling bound projector, fully-installed voice reinforcement & PA system, and induction loop systems for the hearing impaired.

The LNER Lounge can seat 200 for a dining or 300 in theatre style.

The LNER Lounge

Our Jorvik and Directors Lounges are both the same size and next door to each other. They are located on the 2nd floor and accessible either by lift or the main staircase. With pitch views these rooms both have lots of natural daylight but are fitted with blinds if needed. Both rooms also have a central partition meaning they can be further split down if required.

The Jorvik and Directors Lounges each have two built in ceiling screens with quiet motor, HD ceiling bound projectors, fully-installed voice reinforcement & PA systems, and induction loop systems for the hearing impaired.

Both the Jorvik and Directors Lounges can seat up to 100 for dining and up to 144 in theatre style.

Our hospitality boxes are all located on the 2nd floor and are accessible either by lift or the main staircase. With pitch views these rooms all have lots of natural daylight but are fitted with blinds if needed. A number of the boxes have partition walls meaning they can be reconfigured.

Each hospitality box has a wall mounted flat screen television and each can seat up to 12 in a Boardroom layout (when used as individual boxes with the partition walls in place).

Nearest train station
York Railway Station is 3.2 miles and a 15 minute taxi ride from the stadium. York to London King’s Cross takes just under 2 hours on the fastest service with up to 40 daily arrivals.

Nearest Airport
Leeds Bradford International Airport is just an hour away by car

By road
The stadium is just off the A64, located near to the Vangarde Shopping Park which is well sign posted.

Parking
For evening functions, Monday to Friday from 6pm onwards, we have 50 guest parking spaces (subject to availability and on a first come, first served basis) This excludes matchdays with an evening kick off.

For weekend functions, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays all day, we have 50 guest parking spaces (subject to availability and on a first come, first served basis) This excludes match days

For weekday functions, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, we have 20 guest parking spaces (subject to availability and on a first come, first served basis)

Additional paid parking is available locally on the Monks Cross Park & Ride car park. With 800 spaces and a fixed daily parking charge (£5.00 per car as at December 2020).
