We are pleased to announce that Jason Mullins-Potter, a Trainee Chef working within our Outside Catering Division, has successfully completed his Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading. Jason already had his Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification but he was keen to develop his team leading skills, enabling him to oversee a small team in ensuring that all food items being prepared were to the required standards, and that food being returned to our production kitchen was stored correctly.
Jason started his apprenticeship on 17th December 2018 and has been supported with the apprenticeship by HIT Training Ltd.
When congratulating Jason he said:
‘I’m glad I’ve done it, it’ll be a useful qualification to have to assist my job role. I feel like I’ve personally developed and progressed within my chosen career, I may consider progressing onto the L3 Team leader apprenticeship in the future’.
