Our Environmental Goals

Guardians of Grub

Guardians of Grub is a campaign designed to support the hospitality industry in reducing food waste. CGC is committed to a 75% reduction in food waste by 2026. This programme provides a framework to record and report on food waste across three categories: production, plate waste, and spoilage. After successful trials in late 2023 that saw a 50% reduction in food waste, we are excited to be launching this group-wide initiative in 2024. This campaign empowers our teams to make informed decisions about food waste and provides valuable data and reporting for stakeholders.
